Missouri Folk Arts Program

One of the highlights of our festival in the past two years has been the presentations from the Missouri Folk Arts masters/apprentices program demonstrating the rich diversity of living folk traditions in music, dance, story and craft. This year, the program will get our audience actively involved with presentations and workshops. The list of participants is not yet complete, but we know we will have some gospel singing from Catherine Cox and her chorus from Columbia, Mo., some cowboy poetry and some old-time dancing and fiddling from the folks from Ava, Mo. So come ready to get inspired and get involved.
